I grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, as the eldest of 6 girls. Yes, all girls equals fun times! I come from humble beginnings and with a strong work ethic, resilience and community support I became the first generation in my family to complete a bachelor’s degree program.

I have a passion to use my financial background to serve surrounding communities and the Duke MBA will equip me accordingly. In 2014, I served as the southern regional treasurer of the National Association of Black Accountants and the economic development chair of the Charlotte Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

I currently reside in Charlotte, NC, and work at Wells Fargo as a senior audit manager. I am responsible for developing the audit plan for the company’s end-to-end regulatory reporting process and assessing risks to opine on its effectiveness. Prior to Wells Fargo, I worked at Bank of America as a vice president in Capital Reporting where I utilized my product knowledge of derivatives and securitization products to translate capital impacts. I began my career as an auditor at Deloitte and have been a licensed CPA for the past 10 years. I have a B.S. in Accounting from Florida A&M University and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida.

I am a self-proclaimed ‘foodie’ and in my spare time, I enjoy dining at new restaurants with family and friends. I also enjoy running, reading and spending time at the beach.
