I was born in the small island nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I am currently a senior quality and operations consultant at ABB, an industry leader in power and automation. I chose Fuqua because of the school culture—the Team Fuqua concept is real and wonderful. In my time here, I know I have forged lifetime friendships with not only the Weekend Executive, but also the Global Executive and Daytime MBA students.
I graduated from Worcester Polytechnic with both my Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering. I have spent more than eight years in various positions within manufacturing sites, and for the last three I have transitioned to working at the U.S. and Swiss headquarters on global, strategic level work. My clients have included the chief human resources officer, group function head of quality and operations, group function head of continuous improvement, and general managers at various sites.
My passions are around diversity, equity and inclusion and I am proud to have been part of the origination and expansion of various DE&I groups at a variety of companies where I have worked. In my free time, I support STEM education work in my community usually through organizations like the National Society of Black Engineers. I also enjoy travelling and learning about random topics in the pursuit of knowledge.
