I’m a 2018 Fuqua Daytime MBA graduate, born in Queens, NY and the proud daughter of immigrants from Colombia. While at Fuqua, I was Co-President of the Black and Latinx MBA Organization (BLMBAO) and a Coach K Center on Leadership and Ethics (COLE) Fellow. I also worked in Admissions, supporting Fuqua’s efforts to recruit stellar talent of color to the school. As an alumna, I continue to volunteer my time to further these initiatives.
During my MBA, I interned in Bank of America’s Human Resources Development Program, a two-year rotational program, while based in NY. I accepted their return offer and am now still at Bank of America, after rotations in Leadership Development, Compensation, and as an HR Business Partner, I am now a Vice President in our Diversity & Inclusion department, covering Global Banking & Markets as well as our Latin America-based businesses.
Prior to Fuqua, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Yale University and worked as a Human Resources Business Partner for a legal services firm in New York for several years. I currently live in Manhattan with my husband, who was born in Ohio to immigrants from Hong Kong.
