Before Fuqua, I worked in the social sector for seven years in both international and domestic roles. My love for mission-based work began as a Peace Corps volunteer in rural Kyrgyzstan and continued when I found a position as a program manager battling houselessness in Portland, OR. Immediately prior to Duke, I was a maternal and child health consultant tackling malnutrition issues with mothers and children in rural Rwanda.
At Fuqua, I worked on food security issues in Nigeria through the mentored study program, served as a cabinet member for both the Net Impact Club and Business in Africa Club, and was a Fuqua on Board member, CASE fellow, and inclusion fellow. I also supported Patrick Pierson-Prah, Lilian Onyekachi-Izuorah, and Sandeep Panda as a co-founder of Renmo, a startup tackling housing access in West Africa.
After graduating in May of 2021, I joined Vanguard’s Leadership Development Program and settled down to river runs, cheesesteaks, and citywide specials in Philadelphia.
