A proud Howard University graduate from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, I have spent the last ten years working with federal government agencies to optimize all elements of financial organization.
Prior to pursuing my MBA at Fuqua, I managed large-scale grant and compliance projects, assessing over $2.7B in federal disaster relief funds. My previous experience at Deloitte Advisory included leading a team that reviewed high-risk financial transactions and developing forensic accounting expertise, which I shared through teaching at my alma mater.
At Fuqua, I am expanding on my leadership skills as MBAA co-president advocating for the student body to Fuqua administrators across the student experience. I'm also building on my consulting skills by participating in Fuqua's Client Consulting Practicum with PJ's Coffee and non-profit skills by assisting with Meals on Wheel Durham as a Fuqua on Board Fellow.
I hold certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), combining technical expertise with leadership capabilities.
