I was born in Kentucky but only lived there long enough to have “KY” stamped on my passport. Eleven years, seven houses and 4 states later, my family ended up in Virginia, which I consider my home. I went to the University of Virginia and earned a BS in Commerce from the McIntire School in 2007.

After UVa, I worked at Navigant Consulting doing healthcare consulting in Washington, DC. In the summer of 2009, I joined a startup consulting firm, married my high school sweetheart (Joe Mancini), and my new husband applied to Fuqua. Originally as a Fuqua Partner, I was instantly welcomed to the Fuqua community, but I wanted to get back in the classroom myself and soon applied. Shortly thereafter, the Mancinis had representation in Fuqua’s Class of 2012 and Class of 2013.

Fuqua was the perfect avenue for me to explore my interests in healthcare, be exposed to the many cultures and interests of my classmates, and have an excuse to stay in Durham at least one more year!
