Hi! My name is Mikhala and I’m from the Atlanta, Georgia area. I went to the University of Georgia for my bachelor's degree in marketing. I spent the last five years working in a variety of marketing communications roles at General Mills and, most recently, Warner Bros. Discovery for the Cartoon Network brand. I came to Fuqua to gain a more robust understanding of business operations with the goal of transitioning into strategy and management.
At Fuqua, I’m the Vice President of Student Life for the Duke MBA Association, a member of the Black Business Students Association (BBSA) and Christian Business Fellowship, a Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum (FCCP) Fellow, and an Admissions Fellow.
Outside of school, you can catch me traveling the world (8 countries and counting since business school started!), trying new local restaurants in Durham, and watching The Office for the 50th time.
