I was born in Houston but raised in Tokyo, Japan. As the area I grew up in was very international, I enjoyed eating foods from all over the world, from Taiwanese to Italian cuisine.

Prior to pursuing my MBA, I worked for the Japanese government for six years, leading clean technology development projects with corporations, local governments, engineers, etc. I chose Fuqua because of its well-known impact investing studies, as well as its supportive team culture, #TeamFuqua.

At Fuqua, I am involved in the Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE) i3 Impact Investing Program. I also am a co-president of Asian Business Club and an member of Net Impact Club and Energy Club.

In my free time, I like exploring Durham to find new ice cream places (I am a big fan of ice cream) and coffee and matcha places. I also enjoy horseback riding at a local riding farm in Durham.
