I currently serve as assistant dean of Admissions and director of diversity initiatives at Fuqua. It’s a great honor to shape the classes here and lead diversity recruitment initiatives to welcome more veterans, women, under-represented minorities, and LGBTQ students to our school.

I earned my BA in Communications and Public Relations from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and my MA in Human Resources Development from Webster University. In 1989, I began working in higher education, including undergraduate admissions at the University of Missouri, Park University, and the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. I found my home at Fuqua when I joined the Admissions team in 1999. In the nearly 20 years since, I’ve seen countless students come through our graduate business programs and become leaders in their companies and communities. I’m inspired daily by our students and alumni who are committed to making a difference in the lives of others.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing in my church choir, decorating, taking photos, and watching women’s basketball. I also like to participate as an active member of my community and have served on the board of The Rainey Parenting Foundation in Arkansas, and the scholarship committee at Trinity School in Durham.
