I was raised in western New York State, and after 17 years of rural living, I moved to Washington, DC, to attend school at George Washington University. After graduation, I pursued my passion for social issues as a public opinion researcher, managing strategic polling and focus group projects for nonprofits, public interest organizations, and political campaigns, as well as major corporations and the media.

I decided to attend business school to build my business education and experience for the social sector. I first considered Fuqua because of its strong social entrepreneurship program, and became hooked on the school after learning about its emphasis on teams, its diverse curriculum, and the incredible variety of clubs and activities!
