I have been on a mission to empower individuals to reach their full potential for over 15 years. As the Program Director for MMS Career Services, I’m here to champion Fuqua MMS students as their career journeys begin to unfold.

Career decision-making is dynamic and complex. As a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and licensed clinical mental health counselor associate (LCMHC-A) in NC, I support students in making informed, satisfying choices that align with their unique goals and values.

Graduation is my favorite time of year; I love meeting students’ families and leaving each academic year feeling inspired by the futures that lie ahead for our alumni. After 5 p.m., you’ll often find me with my young son cheering on our many student-athletes—Go Duke! Outside of Durham, though, I support my alma mater, NC State University, where I earned my M.Ed. in counselor education. I earned my B.S. in information design and corporate communication at Bentley University.

Throughout my career, I've facilitated career and professional development in diverse environments: higher education, government, and the corporate world. This broad experience allows me to tailor dynamic learning experiences for Fuqua's students. I'm passionate about equipping them with the skills and confidence they need to identify career pathways and pursue their chosen fields.

I am a past president of the NC Career Development Association and co-authored a graduate-level textbook, An Innovative Approach to Career Counseling (2023).
