It is wonderful to reach out to you through this blog! My name is Rishabh, and I was born and raised in Calcutta, India. In 2018, I graduated from Heritage Insitute of Technology majoring in electronics and communication engineering.

During my formative years at Heritage, I manifested my love for business and founded two startups, both in the ad tech domain, where my friends and I made music for radio jingles, video games, and the like. Gradually indulging in business, I decided to go to business school, and Fuqua, so kindly, offered me a spot.

2021, I graduated. Knowing a thing or two about ad tech from my startups and business from Fuqua, I kicked off my career at a marketing firm thriving at the intersection of media and politics in Washington, D.C.

At my core, I’m a musician, an aspiring chess hustler, and a very typical (almost benchmark) INFJ personality type.

In honor of my favorite, the “25 random things” essay, here are five random things about me:

1. I’ve had the same group of friends since kindergarten.
2. Duke’s Lemur Center had a role to play in why I chose Duke. I adopted a ring-tailed lemur at DLC.
3. I have a list (or an Excel sheet) for everything, including a list of all the lists I have.
4. My wardrobe is composed of black and white only. Saves me the cognitive overload from deciding what to wear every morning.
5. In 2021, I watered a plant for six months and later found out that it was fake.
