I was born and raised in Wuhan, a city in Central China. I spent almost all the first 20 years of my life there and graduated with a finance degree before I came to the United States.

I knew that I wanted to have international study experience while also staying caught up on the China market in order to start my career in Shanghai. Thus, the MMS: Duke Kunshan University program seemed to be an ideal choice for me.

Things move really fast at Fuqua, but that didn’t stop me from exploring the States. As an enthusiastic traveler, I made full use of every break to travel within the country, and my favorite attraction was the Freedom Trail in Boston. The lesson I learned during travel is that people are leading very different lives and we need to respect them and embrace diversity.

In my spare time, I like trying out new restaurants and taking photos. So far, I have written more than 230 restaurant reviews and have captured tens of thousands of pictures.

Being a part of Fuqua is great, and I’m happy I can share my MMS experience here with you. Enjoy!
