I was born and raised in Nanjing, China and have always been curious about how people think, decide, and connect across cultures. This curiosity led me to double major in economics and psychology at Middlebury College, and later to pursue my master’s degree at Fuqua. Through my coursework and hands-on projects, I’ve developed a strong interest in using data to understand consumer behavior and optimize decision-making.
One of the most meaningful aspects of my Fuqua experience has been serving as Communications and Yearbook Chair. Each week, I’ve created newsletters that keep our cohort informed and connected, while also organizing events that celebrate community and culture. A personal highlight was our Chinese New Year celebration, where I distributed dumplings, boba, and various Chinese snacks to the class. I also introduced traditional activities like calligraphy and paper cutting, giving everyone a chance to experience a piece of my culture. These moments have been a reminder of how small gestures can build strong bonds and lasting memories.
Outside the classroom, I’m passionate about languages, ballet, and travel. I especially love visiting new places, learning about local cultures, and finding inspiration in everyday moments. Wherever I go and whatever I do, I’m always driven by curiosity and a desire to create meaningful connections.
