Hello, my name is Yitian (Gavin) Wang, and I am proud to have served as the finance track chair for the MQM Class of 2024 within the MQM Association at the Fuqua School of Business. Originally from Shenzhen, China, I completed my B.A. in mathematics and computer science from New York University, where I developed a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
My professional journey includes several internships in the financial services industry, where I gained valuable hands-on experience and deepened my understanding of the financial markets. I am particularly passionate about leveraging data analytics to drive informed decision-making and look forward to integrating this expertise into my future career in finance.
Beyond my academic and professional pursuits, I have a wide range of interests that keep me balanced and energized. I am an enthusiastic fan of karaoke, where I enjoy expressing myself through music. I also love the strategic challenges of poker and Mahjong, both of which have honed my decision-making and risk-assessment skills. Additionally, I am a dedicated board game fan, always on the lookout for new games to master and share with friends.
