I am a Global Supply Base Manager for Valves for John Deere. I am based at our Cary, N.C. office, but I travel to Deere factories as well as supplier locations around the world. I own the relationships with some of our valve suppliers, and ensure they are meeting our delivery, quality, and cost performance expectations.
I recently relocated to North Carolina from Davenport, Iowa. While in Iowa, I was the John Deere Davenport Works United Way Liaison and Volunteerism and Outreach Chair. I also volunteered with a group called One Eighty by coaching 2nd and 3rd grade baseball and 4th and 5th grade basketball.
I am currently the co-chair of the John Deere Women in Manufacturing Thrive Committee. Our committee’s focus is helping women and other employees succeed in operations and manufacturing roles; we conduct lunch and learns to share knowledge and experience, surveys to gain feedback, and connect employees to those with a specific skill set they would like to grow.
My undergraduate degrees are in supply chain management and marketing, and a minor in French from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. In my free time, I enjoy exercising, spending time outdoors, going to concerts, and visiting with friends and family.
