I’m originally from India—the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu to be precise—and came to the U.S. in 2001. I have over 20 years of experience, 15 years of which is in IT. I pursued an undergrad degree in engineering and my Masters in technology in India and started my career in India as a medical equipment service technician at Siemens Healthcare.

I was attracted to IT and got into the customer relationship management (CRM) space. To stay ahead of the pack, I got few project management certifications. These certifications helped me get my first IT project at GE in Massachusetts. Since then I have traveled to Kansas, New York, and Florida and consulted for many big customers in various capacities (project/program manager, lead system analyst). In my last assignment, at a health insurance company, I got into IT management.

I continue to hone my technical skills and am pursuing Duke’s Weekend Executive MBA, in part to develop a set of new business and leadership skills.

In my spare time, my wife and I are foodies and we love music and to travel.
