Early Years

I was born and raised in Herzeliya, Israel, and was an active kid since I learned to walk. Taking this path, I transitioned from martial arts to swimming and eventually found my passion in playing basketball. One of the most memorable moments I have in life is wearing the Israeli uniform and representing my country with the Israeli Youth National Basketball Team.

Prior to Fuqua

When I graduated from high school, I joined the Israeli Defense Forces. I was recruited to the Intelligence Department and served there for three meaningful years. During undergrad, I studied computer science at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzeliya.

For the last three years I have been working for a startup company called DOGTV, the first and only channel for dogs as viewers.

Why an MBA?

My time in a fast-paced startup environment forced me to get out of my comfort zone and constantly think out of the box in order to solve the different challenges I encountered. Generating creative solutions and sometimes crazy ideas have fueled my entrepreneurial spirit and helped me realize that I want to start my own company. In order to do so, I decided to first pursue a leading MBA program that would expand my business acumen.

Why Fuqua?

Choosing Fuqua came naturally to me because of the unique 'Team Fuqua' values that were a perfect fit for my personality. The school also provides an unmatched opportunity to meet professionals from around the world, discover new cultures, management styles and create a unique, rich network.

Follow My Blogging

Last year I used the student blogs to assess my fit and 'feel' the school’s spirit from the student’s perspective. Now it is up to me to help future candidates understand why Fuqua can be the perfect fit for them. As the months go by I will update my progression in the program, and by the end of my two years, hopefully you will have a better idea of The Duke MBA experience through my perspective.
