Raised in the great state of Minnesota, I am a snow enthusiast through and through…and therefore deeply ambivalent about North Carolina’s warmer “winter.” It says something about Fuqua that I decided to move here anyway!

In 2013, I graduated from Tufts University (go ‘Bos!) with a degree in anthropology, and started a career in nonprofit fundraising. I spent three years managing the annual fund at a national early literacy nonprofit called Reach and Out and Read, before returning to Tufts, where I worked in donor communications on the principal gifts team. During this time, I realized I was more interested in issues of strategy and business development than writing. I decided to pursue an MBA in order to build my capacity as a leader and problem solver, and I couldn’t have found a better place for me than Fuqua.

At Fuqua, I serve on the Marketing Club’s first year cabinet, and I am a member of Net Impact, Food and Agriculture Club, and the Association of Women in Business. I am also communications chair for Section 5, and an admissions representative. You are most likely to find me in the kitchen baking sourdough bread (my starter is named Thelma), trail running, ogling other people’s dogs, and wondering when the weather is finally going to get chilly.
