I am from Seoul and graduated from Pohang University of Science and Technology in South Korea with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. My undergraduate education was highly focused on lab and research work in chemistry, and I eventually decided to shift my career to business. I wanted to learn business essentials and skills in different cultures, which is why I came to Fuqua to in the U.S.

Here at Fuqua, I am working as a marketing fellow and participating in the Fuqua Client Consulting Practicum. Besides coursework and school experiences, I enjoy yoga and swimming at Duke’s Wilson Recreation Center which is a 5-minute walk from Fuqua. As a foodie, I’ve been doing ‘Brunch Saturday’ with friends to try different restaurants and explore different neighborhoods in Durham. Fuqua’s cross-cultural potluck parties are another fun activity I enjoy here.

By studying at Fuqua, I have been gaining business knowledge with real-world case studies as well as business skills from experiential learning activities. All the hard work—plus lots of fun activities with good friends—have made my days here.
