Durham is a culturally rich and diverse place, and I'm surprised by the new construction, businesses and restaurants I've seen pop up around the city.

As the clock rushes towards the end of classes on Fridays, students across Fuqua get a little excited to head over to the Fox Center...it’s Fuqua Friday!

Most of us have at least a couple of misplaced notions about going to b-school. Here are some of mine about Fuqua that have been busted during my time here!

All the second thoughts about being an MBA dad that I had at the beginning of school were long gone.

When I was a prospective student, I remember reading marketing materials about Fuqua. Now that I have graduated, I have seen how the elements of that content have been brought to life.

This was not the spring and summer my classmates and I envisioned. As MBAA Vice President for Student Life, I was excited to get started with several projects on campus that appeared to be on hold.

As an alumnus, the question I get asked most by prospective MBA students is whether attending Duke, in medium-sized Durham, North Carolina, will put them at a disadvantage.

Coming from Brazil, I quickly learned that the cultural difference between my home country and the U.S. is greater than I had ever realized. Having support from fellow Latin American students has helped me make the best of my experience
