Many people start their journey online, but the real magic happens when you step onto campus and see firsthand what makes this program and Team Fuqua so special.

There was I time where I doubted whether I was smart or important enough to even have a place at Fuqua. I became my own barrier to success, and I know I’m not alone in that.

I had no idea that silly video would spark a world of opportunity, and I definitely didn’t expect it would inspire me to pursue my MBA at Duke.

When I started at Fuqua back in June 2022, I knew this experience would be life-changing, but I had no idea just how much my life would change over the next few years.

After years of detours, doubts, and delays, I had finally said yes to a long-held dream, but I was quickly reminded that dreaming and doing are two very different things.

I had built a strong career in tech, an industry that often downplays the need for an MBA. I had learned how to navigate ambiguity, how to drive results, and how to lead. But something was missing.

Serving in the 75th Ranger Regiment, the U.S. Army helped me find aspects of a home that I missed growing up and joining Fuqua feels like coming home all over again.

I strive to life a purpose-driven life and wholly believe that without a greater purpose, all successes are fleeting.

When I started my MBA journey, I was nervous about affording the program, as well as having the self-confidence and ability to balance pursuing higher education while fulfilling family and work obligations.

Facing the unknown and going after a long-term goal, there is no substitute for being fully aligned, fully committed, and ready to show up for each other.
